In March of 2021, the inspiring initiative "For Women By Women, Period" was established by Carrington Baker at St. John's University. This remarkable team united students with a common goal: combatting period poverty and challenging the societal stigma surrounding menstruation across diverse cultures and generations.

Comprising members from various backgrounds, our team possesses a rich understanding of the experiences of menstruators. Beyond the provision of hygiene products to those in need, our mission extends to fostering a safe space for open conversations about periods and ensuring improved education on menstruation for all age groups.
